Kids Walk brings together patients, families, students and supporters to walk and raise money with one unified goal: to beat pediatric cancers. 100% of every dollar goes to pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Research for pediatric cancers is underfunded. Only 4% of federal funding for cancer research is dedicated to pediatric cancers. That’s where the Kids Walk community comes in. 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to MSK Pediatrics — where more children with cancer are treated than any hospital in the United States.
It’s because of the dedication and hard work from participants, donors, and supporters of all ages that we’re one step closer to beating pediatric cancers. In 2017, Kids Walk participants and donors came together and raised over $1.2 million for pediatric cancer research — totaling more than $6 million since 2001, with over $3 million raised in the last three years.
For more than a century, Memorial Sloan Kettering has been at the forefront of the most significant advances in the treatment of pediatric cancers — even the rarest types. Every dollar raised through Kids Walk gives the doctors and researchers at MSK what they need to discover new and better treatment options for children around the world. Together, we can make progress possible.
Make a difference in the lives of kids with cancer.
